What this is

The Fellowship is the final stage of the public curriculum. It is structured as an applied investment programme rather than a course: each Fellow is assigned to an analyst team, covers a sector, produces original research, presents that research to an investment committee, and manages a portfolio within the simulated fund over the remainder of the programme.

The programme runs for sixteen weeks at approximately ten hours per week, with a deliverable due each week and each deliverable subject to committee review.

Admission is selective and is based on submitted work rather than on formal credentials. Cohorts are kept small in order to maintain the depth of review.

By the end you will be able to

  • Produce original investment research to the standard expected within a professional investment firm
  • Defend an investment recommendation before an investment committee
  • Allocate capital across a portfolio and account for the results over a full programme cycle
  • Review the work of peers rigorously and constructively
  • Present to an audience of capital allocators, operators and advisers
