Simulated Fund

Run a book before anyone hands you real money.

Members operate a simulated $1,000,000 portfolio with real roles, a real investment process and real scrutiny. No member capital is ever pooled, collected or managed — the fund is a training environment, start to finish.

The roles

  • Analyst — coverage, models and the first draft of a thesis
  • Sector specialist — the industry view and the comparables
  • Research associate — diligence, data and challenge work
  • Portfolio manager — sizing, construction and the final call
  • Investment committee — the people your memo has to survive

What is measured

  • Portfolio performance against benchmark
  • Drawdown, volatility and position sizing discipline
  • Thesis accuracy — what you said would happen, and what did
  • Research quality, as judged by the committee
  • Consistency over cycles, not one good quarter
Simulated only. The fund uses virtual capital for education and professional development. It does not accept, pool or manage member money, it does not trade on anyone's behalf, and simulated results are hypothetical — they carry all the well-known limitations of hypothetical performance and are not indicative of any actual result.
